Girl Scout Vest Pillows

Hey babes! A couple weeks ago my client came to me with the idea of turning her (two) daughter's Girl Scout vests into pillows. I told her I was pretty confident I could make it happen. I just finished them:

I think they came out super cute! All I had to do was add a bit of fabric in the center of the front of the vest, stitch around the arm and neck holes and stuff them.

I'm off to write a new tutorial now! See you in a bit!

This is AWESOME! I've been reading your blog for a while (I found it through Max California) and you always have great projects. =]

This is especially awesome, 'cause I was a girl scout for ages and I didn't want to toss my vest 'cause of all those hard-earned patches, but now I know what to do with it!

If only it'd look as good turning a boy scout sash into a pillow for my brother, haha.

Keep rockin'!

I could spend hours gazing at the sewn-on badges, hoping for inspiration to go canoeing or start knitting to kick in. Amazing job!!! xo
