Ocho de Mayo

Hello Hello Hello! Today was such a slow day at work. The phones were hardly ringing, so about 1:30 pm I left for the day. Wil and I decided to head over to Cherokee Street in St Louis for their Cinco de Mayo block party. Well technically it's the 8th...but who's checking anyways? It was 60 degrees, windy and sunny so it was amazing outside. We ate lunch at Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant.

It was so good! We've been wanting to try it for a while, so I'm glad we finally did. Next we did a bit of thrift shopping at my favorite thrift store Binge & Purge, and checked out Cranky Yellow (they have hand printed shirts, art work and handmade jewelry). We also went into the Mexican Market and picked up some hot sauce, a gelatin dessert, loteria cards, homemade tortillas and a concha pastry. Yum! Here are a few more photos from our day:
