✂ DIY Thigh High Socks Tutorial

You will need 3 pairs of socks in varying lengths. You can use any pattern or color combination you choose.

You will need to draw a straight line across the first pair of socks and cut the bottom of the socks off. This will be the top of my socks.

Now draw a straight line across the second pair of socks. Cut the bottoms of the socks off, and cut the top band of the socks off. This will be the middle part of my thigh high socks.

Cut the top band off the third pair of socks. This will be the base of my thigh high socks.

Turn the middle part of your thigh high socks inside out, and slip it over the right side out base of your thigh high socks.

Line up the edges of your socks (you can pin them if you have to), and stitch them together with a zig zag stitch.

(Push the middle part of the sock up. It should look like this now.)

Turn the top piece of your sock inside out, and slip it over the middle piece of your thigh high sock. Line up the edges of the top of the middle part of the sock and the bottom part of the top piece of the sock. If you have a design on the top part of the sock, make sure it's centered so when you put them on it will be centered on your knees.

Stitch the middle piece and top piece together with a zig zag stitch. When you're done, push the top part of the sock up. Now you're done! Go put your super cute thigh high socks on and admire your work.

I was inspired by this How To: How to make recycled thigh high socks. It wasn't a step by step tutorial, so I wrote one up. I hope you all enjoy it! I love socks, but hate throwing them away when they get worn out and holey. This is the perfect solution.
